Giulia is located in Belgrade's largest shopping center, Galerija, in a place where, in addition to a fairytale view of the river, you have the opportunity to enjoy a rich offer of authentic flavors of Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is lively, but pleasant enough that with good food it is easy to forget about the hectic rhythm of the shopping center. It's not easy to decide, the choice of dishes is really challenging, but a few plates in particular attract attention. For starters, try sea bass sevich, a hearty blend of a sizable medallion of raw fish, avocado, citrus sauce and fresh greens that bring a slight bitterness. The combination is refreshing and reminds us of why this Latin American classic has become a world favorite. The next dish worth trying is puttanesca with octopus. The rich red sauce, capers and olives give a recognizable salty-bitter aroma, while the soft octopus gives this traditional recipe a new dimension, and ignites the imagination to unimaginable limits. The homemade pasta is cooked impeccably al dente and perfectly binds all the flavors on the plate. Pistachio cake brings a small spectacle because, when you break the white chocolate membrane with a spoon, it hides forest fruits and a divine cream that is difficult to describe. This gem and sumptuous finish will take you back to this place.
