Gault&Millau's review 2026

It is no coincidence that this restaurant has been considered one of the best coastal cuisines in the capital for two decades. Already from the door you have a view of a very luxurious selection of wines, and after you settle in, be sure to check with the waiters what is available that day off the menu. They will usually delight you with fresh fish and an excellent selection of fresh shellfish. Among the cold appetizers, we recommend prawn tartare, which is served with crispy toasted unleavened bread, while from warm appetizers, don't skip the crab cocktail or one of the excellent creamy risotto. Their fish soup is legendarily good, and the St. Jacques shellfish au gratin are also highly recommended. If you are in the mood for shrimp, we offer excellent buzara, as well as various variations on the theme of squid, from classically fried or grilled to stuffed with legs and rice or cheese and shrimps. In addition to the classic grilled octopus, there is also octopus in the Mediterranean way, with boiled potatoes, arugula and radicchio, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Of course, the main stars are sea bass, sea bream or San Pierre, as well as the excellent monkfish tail. Whole and baked in salt is our recommendation. If there is room left, tiramisu or light hazelnut parfait is excellent.
