Gault&Millau's review 2026

Tucked into the quiet courtyard of a building in the very heart of Belgrade, this charming little tavern offers a relaxed and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. In just a few steps, the noise of the city falls away entirely, replaced by an ambience more reminiscent of a Mediterranean holiday than an urban lunch break. A glass of local Greek wine is obligatory. Begin with the zucchini croquettes and tzatziki - tender, succulent and fragrant straight from the pan, the kind that prompt an immediate second order. Among the main courses, the kritaroto stands out: orzo pasta with pieces of octopus and homemade spicy sausage, cooked to the right consistency and brought together in a rich, buttery sauce that absorbs the character of both ingredients with equal generosity. Sea and land meet on thesame plate with quiet confidence. Close the meal with the mastic parfait, accompanied by a forest fruit sauce and fresh mint. Light and creamy with a gentle menthol note, the parfait offers a composed and refreshing close, with the forest fruit sauce and mint lending just enough sweetness and vibrancy to send the meal off on a graceful note.
