Gault&Millau's review 2026

The spiritual successor of a dynasty of the Belgrade gastronomic scene that dates back to the famous Plot and then Diagonal, Flowers of Evil continues the spirit of these culinary ideals in a modern and thoughtful way. The space is reduced and elegant, with carefully selected details that follow the philosophy of the kitchen - respect for ingredients and their creative transformation. Here, unexpected and striking combinations are created from simple ingredients. Broccoli, for example, comes slightly burnt and crispy, served on an extremely fine puree made from the same ingredient, almost like mousse, with caramelized almond petals - a true deconstruction of the ingredient in multiple textures. Equally interesting is the crispy carrot. Meat lovers will not be deprived. Steak tartare and baked bone marrow with burnt brioche and pickled onions stand out, while Foie Gras is reliably a good classic of the house. Of the homemade pastes, a creamy version with seasonal mushrooms stands out. The main courses bring quality pork chops, steaks, an excellent burger and very well baked Adriatic fish. You will be able to pair each dish with a very good wine, with which the extremely friendly staff will be happy to help you. Finally, there is an excellent reform cake or a crispy-creamy cream pie with a good coffee, of course.
