Gault&Millau's review 2026

If you haven't tried the Vitello Tonnato so far, the Duomo is the right place to correct the omission. It's extraordinary. Thinly sliced beef richly layered on arugula, all over bruschetta coated with tuna spread, with pickled red onion as a fine finish. In one of the most famous streets in Dorćol, famous for its good time and bars, you can stop by a restaurant with a warm ambience whose Italian cuisine can compete with its counterparts from the homeland. In the middle of the restaurant there is a kitchen island where you can watch with pleasure how the chef prepares cold appetizers, salads and desserts. It is known that there is no joke if the restaurant especially emphasizes a seemingly simple dish such as Duomo Tomato paste on the menu. A delightful tomato sauce, seasoned in moderation, without much philosophy or frills, provides a bite that warms and fills. A wide range of cakes is reminiscent of those from French pastry shops. White cake with pistachios and forest fruits at first glance looks like an eclair, but in fact it is a white chocolate mixture sprinkled with pistachios and filled with gelatin forest fruit filling and pistachio cream. The gentleman behind the aforementioned central bar will be watching intently as you melt along with each bite of this dessert.
