Gault&Millau's review 2026

Since its inception, Milagro has presented authentic Spanish flavors on the Zemun quay. The venue is divided into an informal riverside garden and an effectively designed restaurant. The tapas menu features Iberico ham pinchos, Manchego cheese, and spicy prawns in olive oil. Creamy porcini mushrooms or grilled goat cheese with blueberry jam offer a fine balance of flavors. These are followed by mussels in white buzar, fried calamari with aioli, and the famous Pimientos de Padrón. The paella is a centerpiece, available with seafood, “Valenciana” with mangulica sausage, with steak and chicken, or as a vegetarian option. The sea menu offers shrimp in romesco sauce, calamari and octopus. Meat highlights include steak in oil, kid roasted for twelve hours, tomahawk with truffle mash, marbled steak and the “Cochinillo”, a suckling pig traditionally carved witha plate. For dessert, the Crema Catalana and chocolate-coated burntBasque cheesecake offer a flavorful conclusion. The intensive aromasare harmoniously accompanied by a selected list of Spanish and Serbianwines and a few French and Italian labels. This restaurant provides a truetaste of Spain, from the social ritual of tapas to the grand presentationof the paella.
