Gault&Millau's review 2026

Muscat is true to its name, because it is not easy to forget. It's not the first time I've tasted nutmeg. Like that nutcracker, a relatively small restaurant tucked into the alleys of Zvezdara gives the guest an impression immeasurably larger than its dimensions. It stands out for the warmth of the ambience and the staff that makes guests come back here for a portion of pampering. Carefully selected seasonal menus should be followed, because they are very carefully woven. On this occasion we started a really wonderful meal with Vitello Tonnato. Creatively cut pieces of veal, which looked like flower petals, were topped with a creamy sauce the consistency of some rich hollandaise sauce. Then - the beef tail. If you are trying this specialty for the first time, then Muscat is definitely the place where you should have this experience. The meat from the turnip can be chewed, and if you want, it can also melt if you press it against the palate with your tongue. Unreal texture. The sauce certainly picked up the sweetest flavors and provides a wonderful effect, a la demi-glace, while fresh baby spinach leaves round off the story. Larger petals of caramelized onions add sweetness and yet freshness to the dish. If you've fantasized about biting a cloud as a child, this tiramisu is your chance to make that dream come true.
