Gault&Millau's review 2026

The unusual name of this gastro bar pays homage to the first Serbian chocolate factory that once occupied this site. Its concise menu harmoniously blends international and local flavors, starting with diverse breakfast options ranging from protein-rich plates to hummus and oatmeal with soy milk. For lunch or dinner, the Serbian meze offers a rich selection of national delicacies, while the steak triangles in a vibrant red curry sauce are particularly effective. The Asian wings, served with crispy potatoes and a yogurt-chive cream, are a logical and flavorful continuation. The burger is a clear favorite - rightly so, as it is exceptionally juicy and savory. Other highlights include the “chicken of the forest”- chicken breast with peach sauce and baked potato cream, alongside a powerful smoked pork tenderloin with roasted pepper and pineapple salsa, as well as traditional ćevapi and aged steak. Be sure to save room for the famous Olga: an intense chocolate ganache with honey, served with milk chocolate mousse and a hazelnut crunch. Every detail reflects a modern, editorial approach to dining in a space with deep historical roots.
